O’Connell St Clinic announces the well-deserved retirement of Dr James Chesworth as of 22nd December 2023.

We hope to continue to provide you with excellent medical care from one of our other Doctors following Dr Chesworth’s retirement.

 

COVID-19 vaccines:

O’Connell St Clinic is currently taking bookings for primary and booster doses of COVID-19 vaccinations. We currently stock Pfizer Bivalent vaccines which targets the original 2020 strain and the Omicron variant BA.4 and BA.5.

Please contact the clinic and our staff will be happy to assist you. All appointments will be booked as per government guidelines.

Please note:

To prevent the risk of further infection, if you are deemed to be a casual or close contact of a positive COVID-19 case, or you are experiencing any of these symptoms: sore throat, cough, runny nose or fever, please call the clinic on (02) 9241 1577 and speak to our reception staff before attending for further advice. We appreciate your assistance at this time.

Due to the increasing incidence of community transmission, on arrival, patients are requested they wear a mask.

Called this morning to check if they had a specific service (eye wash/flush) they said they did and... I could see the gp for it and be charged a standard consult fee for the service. I agreed. I attended, GP did NOT provide the service (eye wash/flush) which was the entire reason I was there and I was still charged. Will not return again.read more

O’Connell St Clinic is a patient focused medical clinic located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. We are open for your convenience Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00pm.

Appointments

Bookings can be made by telephoning the practice, through our website or Facebook page, or via the HOTDOC App. Walk ins are welcome, if an appointment is not readily available, the patient will be triaged and scheduled as soon as possible. Home visits are by arrangement with your GP and within a 5km radius. Cancellations within 4 hours of appointment and/or non-attendance may attract a fee of $40.00.

O'Connell St Clinic is 5 minutes walk from both Martin Place and Wynyard train stations and the Wynyard light rail stop.

For medical emergencies, call an ambulance on 000 immediately. For out of hours support, please call the National Home Doctor Service on 13 SICK (7425).
